The Alphabet

This was written for the @jfb57 100 word challenge.  The prompt is to do ‘something’ with, involving, pertinent to The Alphabet.

Well, I mean to say, it’s just not the sort of thing that one expects, especially in Chelsea.  Maybe one would find it lurking in a nursery kitchen cupboard, but I do not exaggerate when I say I was shocked to my core.  Of course, it’s common knowledge in SW3 that the hostess is a little, shall we say, eccentric, but really this was pushing the boundaries ever so slightly.  Maybe this is an emerging trend, but surely not one that could gain in popularity.  There we were, dinner for twelve, in Armani and McQueen, to be served Alphabet Spaghetti?

I love the catty tone you have used in this. I can just imagine her on the phone to her girlfriends, sneering at the hostesses lack of class! Great way to use the prompt.

You have got the tone brilliantly! I can see that woman with her scarf & long polished finger nails. As for the accent – I can hear it. Fabulous!
