I’ve been tagged by the lovely helloitsgemma to answer 10 questions, so we all get to know one another a little better. The idea is to then tag someone else, preferably someone who is taking part in the NaBloPoMo project. So here goes:
1. Describe yourself in seven words.
Always open to new and exciting ideas.
2. What keeps you awake at night?
Nothing, I’m out like a light, every night. Sometimes even before I get as far as my bed! I’ve never fallen asleep in my dinner, although it may be only a matter of time.
3. If you could be anyone for a day, who would you be and why?
I’d like to be the new mother I was when my little chap was first born (this would involve him being a different person too, so I’m not sure if this counts). I loved the early weeks with him and would love to have them again, exactly as they were. If that doesn’t count, because it involves two people being someone else, then I’d choose Adele, the singer. This is because I can’t sing and I would love to be able to sing. So, if I could spend a day singing my socks off like her, I would be happy indeed.
4. What are you wearing right now?
The usual outfit of jeans and a t-shirt. I’ll be ditching this “uniform” soon as I lose more weight and invest in an adventurous new wardrobe in the New Year.
5. What scares you?
The thought of any harm whatsoever coming to my child.
6. What are the best and worst things about blogging?
Best thing: sharing ideas and getting inspiration from the amazing bloggers I’ve discovered so far. Worst thing: there are so many blogging events and challenges to get involved in, that there just isn’t enough time to do everything I want to do.
7. What was the last website you looked at, apart from Twitter and Facebook?
www.blogher.com, which is where I’m getting my NaBloPoMo prompts.
8. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
I want to be able to sing. I greatly admire the ability to sing and I can’t do it. I’d love to be able to stand up and entertain people with a song or six.
9. Slankets – yes or no? (This apparently divides the blogging world).
Definitely not! You can’t beat a fleecy, fluffy, cuddly blanket on these chillier evenings.
10. Tell us something about the person who tagged you.
I was tagged by amazing Gemma who writes a lively, interesting blog and is currently going through the same schools admissions procedure as me.
I’m going to pass the baton and tag Susanna Scott, www.amodernmother.com and Ally at thespectacledbean.wordpress.com
